Important Coronavirus Update 15th March

CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19)

Boxmoor Social Club Management Committee held a meeting on Saturday morning 15th March. The discussions were around awareness and precautions to be put in place around the club.

 There is now a sign on the entrance door that reads :
If you have any of the following symptoms
Temperature
Coughing repeatedly
Sore Throat

PLEASE DO NOT ENTER THE CLUB.

If any member has been in contact with anyone who may have had these symptoms, please inform
the Secretary or Committee member.

 There are now a number of signs around the club that read:
Regularly wash your hands for at least 20 seconds
If you cough or sneeze use a tissue or your sleeve and wash your hands immediately and dispose of the tissue

 To reduce the amount of contact for the time being you will longer be required to use your door card at the bar.

 We would encourage all members to pay the bar bill using contactless debit/credit cards

 Staff will be advised to use gloves when serving & collecting glasses.

 When signing in guests please have the correct money.

 Staff will be using bacterial spray regularly on all services e.g. handrails, handles, chair arms etc.

 Sanitisers/tissues are on order ( all outlets have sold out).

The Management Committee will be monitoring this very carefully and will follow the Government guidelines as and when they are announced.
