Annual Club Charity Support
Boxmoor Social Club has a proud tradition of supporting local charities. Each year events are run to raise awareness and funds for selected charities. This year:
MIND Charity
For 2026, the Club is supporting the Mind Hertfordshire Network charity.
DENS and DACORUM COMMUNITY TRUST
The Club also wants to support two further charities, namely DENS and Dacorum Community Trust. The Club runs various charity music quizzes, and in 2026 they will support these two great local charities.

Boxmoor Good Neighbours
Boxmoor Good Neighbours - We support the elderly in Boxmoor. Our scheme is run entirely by volunteers for the benefit of elderly residents living in Boxmoor. We do not charge but welcome donations.

Electric Umbrella
At Electric Umbrella we create amazing, live interactive music experiences with learning disabled people.
And when our superstars take to the stage, they help change the way the world looks at them - and others. When you’re part of Electric Umbrella, the stage is always set, the lights are bright, and the show is always on.

UPDATE - March-2025 - Electric Umbrella performed on Britain's Got Talent - and got a GOLDEN BUZZER. Simon Cowell's quotes included "Spectacular - Great people - they deserve it - every single person had a part”. Boxmoor Social Club is so pleased for a local charity that it supported. Stroke Association
We're here to support people to rebuild their lives after a stroke. We believe everyone deserves to live the best life they can after a stroke.
We provide specialist support, fund critical research and campaign to make sure people affected by stroke get the very best care and support to rebuild their lives. Rebuilding lives after a stroke is a team effort. It takes the determination of stroke survivors and carers, the generosity of supporters and the dedication of the healthcare and research communities to get there.
Also the Club Supported the Cosmic Charity
In March & April 2023 Boxmoor village as a whole supported the COSMIC charity. This charity stepped in to support a village family when a fatal road accident took their son Christopher.

Gaddesden RDA Riding School
A dedicated riding school for the disabled giving children & adults with special needs and disabilities to ride and have fun. Held at Bridens Camp Hemel Hempstead. For contact details go to Facebook (Gaddesden RDA Riding School)
Dacorum Dolphins Swimming Club
Dacorum Dolphins is a swimming club for people with disabilities (children and adults) and their families. Held at Everyone Active, Sports Centre, Hemel Hempstead every Saturday between 5pm - 6pm
